Install Print Anywhere printers on your personal device

This step uses PaperCut Mobility Print software to install the Print Anywhere printer drivers on your personal laptop, phone, or tablet.

What to Expect

During setup, you will be prompted to enter your RIT username and password.

The login prompt does not use RIT’s standard single sign-on screen. This is expected for the Mobility Print installation process.

You should normally need to enter your credentials only once while installing and connecting to the printers.

Protect Your RIT Account

Always be careful when entering your RIT username and password, particularly when a login form does not show the familiar RIT single sign-on screen.

  • Begin the installation from this official RIT printing page.
  • Confirm that the setup address begins with https://mobileprint.rit.edu/setup/.
  • Do not enter your password on an unexpected or unfamiliar website.
  • Stop and contact the RIT Service Center if anything looks unusual.

The Mobility Print setup service opens in a separate tab. Select your device there and follow the installation instructions.

The official RIT setup tool will detect your device and show the correct installation steps.

Need Help?

Contact the RIT Service Center if you cannot install the printers, receive an authentication error, are repeatedly prompted for your password, or are unsure whether a login screen is legitimate.
